When a monster drops a gem, it will go to your loot bag. You will instantly be able to tell what type of gem it is. A weapon power gem, a armor power gem, etc. You can then...
Loot inventory is a place for all of your loot to go.... items that drop from monsters go there and do not take up inventory space... not until you choose what to do with them. Also, it will still there if you relog. When you get a Power Gem, it will go there too. Being able to use the Power Gem to upgrade your items is going to be a really clean, simple, and fun experience.
At the Monday morning meet we agreed to quickly get the base stuff working quickly and not worry about the polish pass until we were happy with how it felt. Cross your fingers, claws, tentacles for us!
