Greetings heroes! We are excited to celebrate Aranx’s birthday today with a special release... that spans both Infinity & the original AQWorlds. Yes, this is our first simultaneous release. (We probably messed it up. Be gentle :D) Log into either version of the game to obtain 4 new fully animated manticore pets.
Obtain the four Manticore pets by talking to Aranx in Battleon, he will take you to the Celestial Nexus, where the Manticores have escaped into. Aid him in taming them to earn their loyalty.
The manticore is a boss monsters & a pet. Kudos to Nulgath for the killer animation in both games.
Aranx is a rising star game artist who works on both versions of the game. He creates beautiful original weapons, armors, & npcs. Aranx is also the one doing the glow-ups of the Infinity art. He is standing in town now. #HopeYouAreNotScaredOfSpiders
The original AQWorlds team is well known for celebrating the birthdays of team members with drops, shops, and quops (Sorry. Quests just did not flow there.) So when the Infinity team was given the opportunity to join in and make this our first... sorta... simul-release... Sir Fainal, Ghost, Nulgath, PineOak, Tutulio, and Warlic jumped on it.
The team assembled a mini release with four farming quests available for you to complete. All pets rewards have been fully re-animated for Infinity compatibility. You can take these pets back into AQW too. Or, if you so choose, you can earn them in AQW by playing the update the AQW Team has prepared for you.
This is our first simul-release... and it was a little bit of a last minute decision since we have been on hold for the upcoming big release. Tt is not going to be perfect by any means. There are far more items to get inside the original AQWorlds. And after we painstakingly rebuilt the manticores, they already created at least 2 more new ones, LOL. We ran into a few minor problems with the manticores. The particle system freaks out when you run the wrong direction. We will fix that along with next week's major game update. The original plan was to release the new version of the game this week, but we changed so much UI stuff that we keep finding new bugs. Along with the release will be the next Kickstarter Update Post.
